Second topic started! I suggest at first it just be used for members communicating with each other. Needs to be announced with some minimal instructions. It is only for members to prevent spam. If we open it to the public (even with some private forums for BOD and for members or sigs or whtever), I’d need to research how to secure it from spammming. Maybe simple, but didn’t spend time on doing what may never be necessary.

To answer your question, Bruce, If the Board decides to keep it, I think a simple announcement – maybe on the member-login page soon and when there is a free day, send a member-only email. Plus, mention in the new member letters – they probably need to be refreshed anyway. Bottom line, sort of a soft opening to see how it works out.
