Managing knowledge sharing with both new and departing employees can be challenging, especially since many organizations have both happening at the same time on a regular basis. In this session, we will hold a facilitated discussion exploring the barriers and opportunities for knowledge sharing across  generations and career stages. We’ll utilize the World Café methodology, a proven and engaging format for holding conversations that matter.

Participants in the discussion can expect to leave with:

• A solid grasp of the obstacles and opportunities for knowledge management in the workplace

• A set of strategies for successfully managing and  augmenting the expertise of employees at all stages

• A holistic understanding of the shifting issues and needs of employees throughout their employment term.

• Ability to use the World Café format to hold fruitful cross-demographic conversations about complex learning and development issues in the workplace

Coompetency focus for this event: Knowledge Management and Change Management
