Need to brush up on your Captivate Skills?  Or learn them from scratch?

This workshop takes you through the process of building a course from beginning to end using Captivate* and provides you with the knowledge and hands-on practice you need to build and edit your own interactive lessons and more. Adobe software expert Joe Ganci will share his 30 years of innovative programming and development experience to take you from Captivate basics to advanced techniques.

Through demonstration and exercises you will work through a complete project using Captivate during this certificate. You can make it SCORM or Tin Can compliant too.

* We will be using the latest version of Captivate. You may use prior versions of Captivate, however, there will be a few features that you will not be able to access.

Bonus Items! You'll receive a step-by-step guide to designing e-learning with Captivate as well as extensive exercise files.

What to bring: You should bring your laptop with a working version of Captivate.

What if I don't have Captivate?
1. You can download a free 30 day trial of Captivate from

2. If you have an expired trial on your laptop then, rather than buying the product, you could take out a month-to-month subscription via the adobe website for $29.99/month.

If you're new to Captivate, and/or simply plan to absorb all there is on offer, you can stop reading here, pack up your laptop and come spend a day of learning.

If you need to know the nitty-gritty of the day's content, however, read on:
