Unlock the secrets of winetasting at this fun, “no fear”, social event.

During this networking event, learn what types of wine you like and don’t like. Learn what these terms really mean:
  • What’s a “dry” wine?
  • What’s a “big” wine?
  • What’s a “silky” wine?
  • What’s the heck does “mouthfeel” mean?
  • Learn tasting methods from WSET and the Constellation Academy of Wine
For non-wine drinkers, we have an alternative tasting kit, so you can still educate your palette. We’ll talk about how you can apply these tasting methods with chocolate, cheese, honey, etc. No wine experience is necessary

Ice tea, cheese, crackers, and other beverages will be available.

Cheryl Hall is the VP of Technology for ASTD Golden Gate and has been active in the chapter since 2009. She has an intermediate certificate from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

Walk-ins are and first-time guests welcome. Non-chapter members will not be able to register on this site - please email Joellen Mitchell at if you would like to attend.

Repeat visitors must be ASTD Golden Gate chapter members
