Do any of these questions sound familiar to you: “I can’t keep up with all the changes coming at me?” or “If I am having trouble keeping up, what about my staff? How do I keep their skills and knowledge up-to-date?” 

If you are responsible for learning and development in an organization facing constant change, these concerns probably sound familiar to you. How do you keep people current when change is happening all the time? How do you prepare managers to operate in an environment like this? Denise Blanc, founder of River Logic Partners, will share her experiences developing training for just such an environment. Healthcare.

Healthcare changes are happening at such a rapid pace that most staff and managers feel they can barely keep their head above water. Strong management and leadership skills have never been more important. As Director of Training and Education for St.Joseph Health System – Sonoma County, she created a "Manager's Toolkit" which was recognized by the corporate office as a "best practice for creating and developing future leaders."

Denise will share how the program was able to achieve consistent results building management capabilities and ensuring effective knowledge transfer. The program has been so successful, it is still used 12 years after implementation. She will talk about how to balance high impact training and development solutions while also navigating tight fiscal and operational parameters. She will share how successful interventions were built through joint ownership and the uncovering mutual interests and goals.

Denise Blanc, MA is the founder of River Logic Partners a communication consulting firm that focuses on conflict coaching, communication training and leadership development. It is dedicated to the premise that candor, courage and improved communication can save organization's significant resources in time, money and reduced stress. She was Director of Training and Education for St. Joseph Health System for eight years and has consulted extensively within small and large healthcare organizations.
