Learn the keys to success that will make you a successful change facilitator and help you develop strong relationships with your internal clients.

Are you a Training Manager, HR Manager, Department Manager, External Consultant or someone who deals with organizational change?  Then this workshop is for you!

Join Bev Scott and Kim Barnes, co-authors of Consulting on the Inside, published by ASTD, 2011, as they facilitate this day-long workshop.  Success as an internal consultant requires more than technical expertise, theoretical concepts or external consulting experience.  In this workshop, we will discuss the challenges and paradoxes of the demanding role of the internal consultant, offer ideas and tips to lay the foundation for success, and provide a review of the internal consulting process and how it differs from the classic external models.

Participants will learn and practice specific influence and negotiation skills to achieve results and build relationships with their clients and colleagues. They will build their competence in Facilitating Organizational Change. Participants will identify where they are in the development of their practice and consider what is required to build consulting mastery.

While valuable for individual consultants, the experience will add even more value if you come with your team – in this way, you can develop a common language and set of practices to continue your learning after the workshop. Internal consultants from any discipline are welcome (training, OD, HR, strategy, human factors, IT, etc.).
