Would you like to know how West Point predicts the success of their cadets? And imagine how you could apply this same principle to improve your and your team’s performance! That’s the focus of our program this month -- discover how you can use passion and perseverance, or “true grit,” to improve performance and get results.

This program is part of our CPLP series, and a continuation of last month’s focus on improving human performance.

Join Eric Kaufmann, leadership development consultant and founder of Insights4Results, to learn how you can improve individual performance for yourself, for your organization or for your clients using “true grit.”

Grounded in positive psychology, learn about how Eric defines “true grit” as having the perseverance and passion needed to achieve long-term goals. This is a common trait among highly successful people, such as Bill Gates, Tiger Woods, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Lady Gaga and Tom Hanks. They’re all passionate about their goals and they all demonstrate tremendous perseverance.

Eric will walk you through a case study, give you the opportunity to take the assessment that West Point uses to determine performance potential, and finish up by sharing immediately applicable hands-on best practices for improving your own performance. You can use these tools to energize your team and configure internal systems and structures to drive personal responsibility and individual improvement.

You will walk away with:
  • A clear understanding of the four key elements for developing “true grit” in self and others
  • Tools for sustaining execution of human performance improvement for self and others
  • A 'How to' for applying positive psychology principles toward keeping a team engaged and on track for improved performance
Who should attend:
  • HR or training Director or manager responsible for performance improvement
  • Business executive/decision-maker who want to grasp the finer points of business execution
  • External consultant who wants to bring additional efficacy to their consulting uptake
  • Internal trainer who wants to improve the learning transfer and achieve greater ROI
