Here at ATD GG, we have the advantage of a vast network of Talent Development Professionals. With our combined experiences (triumphs, mishaps, learnings) we have the power to enhance each other’s development in this field.

Join us for a panel discussion on Emotional Intelligence where our fellow ATD members will share some of their experiences in the following areas:
  • Techniques to help participants connect with people, master difficult conversations, and build high performing teams
  • Quick exercises to use with EI novices
  • Methods to connect EI to other skill development programs
  • Resources that you can use to teach EI (both cheap and expensive)
No equipment needed. Just bring yourself and your energy to learn!

Paul Anjeski was skeptical of Emotional Intelligence when it first arrived in the personal development literature. Until about the year 2000 he remained cautious of its foundations and critical of its practicality. As he discovered the growing scientific support of its principles he gradually began introducing EI into professional development and performance improvement programs and recognized considerable improvements by learners. Today he considers EI one of the three most valuable concepts he weaves into the majority of his work. Paul is currently the Organizational Development and Training Manager for the City of Santa Rosa. He has been in the OD and Training field for over 40 years as both an internal and external practitioner. At both the national and chapter levels ATD has been a valued asset to his continuing professional growth and networking.
