In this session, we’ll explore e-learning practices in consulting and organizational training, share best practices and create a framework for incorporating e-learning into your development approach.

With the continued evolution of technologies, organizations, consultants, and other training professionals are increasingly considering the move into e-learning as a pathway to expanding training reach, controlling expenditures, and further engaging their workforce. But deciding whether or not to embark on the virtual learning path requires an investigation about outcomes (learning and organizational), clear articulation of training goals, and an honest assessment of learning/training capacity in one’s organization.

This session will begin the conversation around how to evaluate the benefits and challenges of e-learning as a developmental strategy, provide insight into some of the most commonly used technologies for e-learning, and facilitate a dialogue amongst training & development professionals about the risks, pitfalls, and potential upsides of developing and launching e-learning initiatives in your organization.
