Organizations want to achieve their strategic goals and thrive in their marketplace. Individuals want to develop their own personal and professional skills so that they can lead fulfilling lives and achieve their own goals.

How do these two sometimes opposing sets of priorities work together to achieve greatness?

The 7 Step Organizational Readiness model weaves the 2 sets of priorities together to create very real results. Mary Anne will guide you through the model and you’ll walk away with practical tips for

  • building strategic alignment for your development programs
  • improving employee engagement (and retention!) and leadership decision making
  • spending your organization’s development dollars on high-return activities, and
  • making an impact on business results.
This session is great for internal and external talent development professionals.

As a talent development professional, you know intuitively that developing people works. Attend this session to tool up and fine tune your message to your leadership or clients.

Mary Anne Rasmussen, MS, HROD. is a Global Talent Development Leader. She recognizes that both organizations and individuals want to develop to their highest potential. Mary Anne works with leadership to identify the strategic priorities of the organization, then ignites the potential in people with strategically aligned development programs that fill performance gaps and propel the entire organization forward

Mary Anne helps organizations invest in people development activities that gain the greatest strategic advantage in the marketplace. High performance is always the goal, in an environment of trust, sincerity and personal and professional growth.

Mary Anne has held many significant talent development leadership positions. These include
  • Director of Systemwide Talent Management at the University of California, Office of the President, where she created strategic partnerships among the talent management teams at all 10 campuses, 5 medical centers and the lab;
  • Senior Director of Executive Development for Allianz AG, where she was responsible for the creation and implementation of the global succession planning program, including the identification of high potentials, and development of international executive development programs for high potential leaders.
  • Leadership roles at Fireman’s Fund, Gap Inc., Applied Materials, Charles Schwab, and Pacific Bell.
Mary Anne also owned her own organizational development consulting firm, where she built organizational capability in many industries, including biomedical research, financial services, aerospace, high tech manufacturing, internet security, assisted care facilities, precision manufacturing, and state government.

Mary Anne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Redlands and a Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development from University of San Francisco.

At the end of the day, Mary Anne wants everyone to feel like they have ownership in the success.

And she likes to have some fun while she’s doing it.
