What are the key personality traits that drive performance-and the common traits that derail it? Join us as Psychologist Ron Warren PhD, author of Personality at Work takes us through his research to learn about the four clusters of behavior that drive performance; Grit/Task Mastery, Teamwork & Social Intelligence, Deference, & Dominance.

Personality at Work draws from research using the LMAP 360 with thousands of leaders and tens of thousands of 360-feedback raters. The assessment is used at Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, Yale SOM’s Global Leader & CEO College Programs, MGSM (Au), Cornell Exec Ed, Underwriter Laboratories, BearingPoint EMEA, Teach for America, Clayton Homes, and 25 hospital systems in the United States.

Personality at Work blends scientific rigor with stories of real leaders facing common to sometimes extraordinary challenges in their work. Ron weaves together contemporary research on leadership performance drivers and de-railers, aviation and medical safety, decision-making, and our evolutionary roots.  Come to learn and talk about these exciting topics of science and inquiry. Take away new ways of viewing personality, ways to raise performance, and new approaches to coaching and development for emerging and established leaders you support at work. AND - of course - meet new people and have fun!

Ron Warren earned his MA in Sociobiology and PhD in Human Development at The University of Chicago. He has expertise in both clinical and organizational psychology. Until 2010, he was the Director of the Dual Diagnosis Program at Family Services Agency (Marin County, CA). Ron has been developing psychometrically-sound, narrative-rich, 360 assessments since 1984. He has presented at Harvard Business School, Yale School of Management, Wharton, Temasek Holdings Global Leader Program, ASTD, SIOP, International Symposium Aviation Psychology, American Psychiatric Association and American Psychological Association meetings.
