Designing a cutting edge, engaging development experience takes creativity, expertise and resources. At our June session we are excited to model a process through which we will explore how to create and deliver highly effective, engaging and cutting edge development experiences.

If you have never experienced the Open Space Technology/Process, you are in for a treat. This is your opportunity to share and learn with your peers what you know and what you always wanted to learn about instructional design.

Open Space Technology (OST) is a highly participatory approach developed by Harrison Owen, who experienced that the most compelling conversations at conferences were often those happening when gathered around the water fountain. The OST process has been used worldwide for over three decades to convene conversations without leaders, agendas, or PowerPoint!

Come prepared to explore the nuances of instructional design and learn how to take your development designs to the next level.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover the power of OST for generating ideas and learning new skills
  • Learn best practices to help you develop cutting edge materials and learning environments
  • Experience ways to engage your audience with new methodologies
