Samorn Selim is a career coach, lawyer, and diversity and inclusion expert who has worked with professionals in law, business, technology, and healthcare.  She will use her extensive experience working with over 1,000 clients to provide key strategies on effectively taking your career to the next level while avoiding common pitfalls.



Samorn Selim is the Founder of Samorn Selim Coaching. She has successfully worked with over 1,000 clients to effectively land dream jobs, be promoted to leadership positions, and develop a book of business. She is known as a diversity and inclusion expert supporting first-generation professionals, women, and women of color.   She is a frequent speaker and featured moderator locally and nationally, and has presented at Microsoft, UC Office of the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women, and the National Association for Law Placement. She has also published articles on hot topics with The Recorder and the Daily Journal.

Samorn received her B.A. with High Honors in Social Welfare and Legal Studies with a minor in Education and J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. She was formerly the Director of Employer Outreach and Associate Director for Private Sector Counseling and Programs at Berkeley Law, the Associate Director at UC Hastings College of the Law Career and Professional Development Office, an attorney at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, a judicial extern to the Honorable Edward M. Chen, and an intern at the Federal Trade Commission.

During her spare time, Samorn enjoys visiting historical sites and walking her friends' dogs.
