REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.    We have discovered what the important factors are that keep learners engaged and contribute to learning transfer. Applying them to the design and delivery of e-learning is essential. Come and hear how Udemy continues to utilize the latest learning science principles! Udemy continues to grow and attract both learners and instructors to its platform. A main reason is that from the beginning it has focused on the learner and insisting on supporting its instructors in applying the latest in learning science to develop successful e-learning courses.

You will want to attend if you are interested in:
  • The principles that Udemy has found essential to course success
  • How learner centered evaluation contributes to refining course design standards
  • Learning how to establish and support a community of practice and support for course developers
  • How to apply course analytics to program development
When success is measured by learner satisfaction the result is continued growth.  Come to Udemy headquarters and learn from their Research & Development team lead Adam Lupu.

It'll be the last ATD event at this location. Thanks to the application of learning science principles, Udemy is growing fast and will be moving to a larger location soon.

Adam Lugo leads Udemy's Learning Research & Development team. He works on building the best possible tools to help people transmit knowledge and expertise through online media and interactives. Adam is also the Founder of Learnovate Labs, an incubator for online learning communities and serves as the Director of Learning and Development at the non-profit education organization, Global Playground. Before joining Udemy, Adam was Curriculum Director at Udacity, Learning Architect at Mobile Makers and started his career as a math and science teacher.

Adam graduated with a Bachelors in Physics and Literature from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Masters in Learning Sciences from NorthwesternUniversity.
