Are you ready for the future of talent development? As we wrap up our 70th year as a Chapter join us to hear about the “Future of Work” in the venue that celebrates innovation!

We conclude the celebration of our 70th year as an ASTD chapter with an exciting and entertaining event where you can spend an entire day of discovery.

Your registration includes an all-day pass for the Tech Museum of Innovation. This premier location in San Jose provides an opportunity to interact with some of the most creative and dynamic museum experiences available. Whether it’s the Tech Virtual Gallery with exhibits originally designed in Second Life from all over the world or the Tech Silicon Valley Innovation Gallery at the intersection of art and technology. You can explore the “digital you” in the brand-new body metrics exhibit that utilizes the latest in wearable technology for you to learn about yourself. Or experience building a structure to survive an earthquake and see what happens when the ground moves. Get new ideas, stretch your imagination and recharge your creative batteries in this stimulating environment! Who knows how it could affect your next course design, facilitation experience or training event.

The conclusion of 70 years naturally leads to curiosity about the next 70 years and we will pique that curiosity with a look at “Society 3.0: How Technology Is Reshaping Education, Work, and Society”. This dynamic discussion in the afternoon with Dr. Tracy Wilen is sure to be thought-provoking and enlightening as she takes us into the next challenges in workplace talent development. In addition to her presentation & discussion she will be available to sign copies of her book.

Finally, your registration includes our 70th anniversary celebration with cake and beverages and prizes! We have special guest rates for family and friends. So we hope you will make the time to join your colleagues to close the history of the past 70 years of ASTD Golden Gate and prepare to launch the new ATD Golden Gate in 2015!
